Sea Capers "Build-a-Boat" Challenge, 2004
Charles Buchwald and friend Rob Boyd construct an Aleut-style baidarka out of corrugated plastic sheet, 8 ft. cedar garden stakes, a poly tarp, cable ties, staples and duct tape. The 15'8" craft is built in the alotted 2 hours, and wins the following race with Charles aboard.
