The hangboard by Hangboard Snoflight Inc. was developed over several years working with Canadian Don Arney, inductee to the Inventors’ Hall of Fame, and owner/founder of SEI Industries.

Extensive design development led to an exciting new snow sport, combining elements of snowboarding, mountain biking and hang gliding. Testing at Mt Washington Ski Resort, Whistler/Blackcomb, and other legendary British Columbia ski resorts, with over 2000 runs, proved the design’s versatility, fun, and safety.

I made hundreds of prototype variations over 6 years, including the (mostly) aluminum frame, nylon harness components, and complete assemblies with selected bicycle and aircraft parts.
