I am in some remarkable company… or rather my photographic work will be shown with the work of some amazing people. Here’s the lowdown:
The Saltspring Centre School has an art lottery coming up as a school fundraiser. Here’s how it works….you buy a ticket for $75.00, and you are guaranteed to win a piece of art valued at at least $100. The ticket stubs will be picked randomly and as your name comes up, you choose the piece of art you want. The wine and cheese event happens on the evening of April 1st, and you can come and view the art between 6:00 and 7:00 before the stubs are picked. There will also be a live auction of a few very valuable pieces. You can buy tickets at Saltspring Books or Gecko Greenliving (tickets are limited). If you just want to come for the entertainment and wine and cheese, you can purchase a $10 ticket. All proceeds go to the art program at the school, as well as other programs such as yoga, music, etc. Below is a list of artists who have donated their artwork.
